ESOL Digital Learning Days 2020-- Would you like to practice your English using fun activities?
If so, choose any three activities for the week of March 23-27, 2020. Save your work! We would love to see it! Have fun!
Interview family members-
Write 5 questions to ask.
Write down 10 or more adjectives you hear your family members say in one full day.
Adjectives could be colors, sizes, numbers, textures, emotions--anything that describes a noun.
Save your paper 😊
Call an older relative and ask him or her to tell you anything about his/her childhood.
Write it down and share it in ESOL class when you come back to school.
If you have time, draw a picture that goes with the story!
Write a real letter to your teacher. It would be a gift from you! Draw a picture that goes with your letter.
Use the school address to send-
3995 Webb Bridge Rd.
Alpharetta, GA 30005
Ask a parent if you can put all the kitchen spices in A-B-C order. Fun and helpful!
Ask how you can help you mom or dad and write down what you did. Play with a younger sibling? Pick up ten things and put them away? Set the table? Write how you felt when you were finished helping. Use adjectives in your writing (happy, proud, annoyed, important, helpful, smart, etc.).
Draw a picture to show what you did.
Save your paper!
Sit silently for 15 minutes. (You CAN do it!)
Write down every sound you hear. This can serve as a mini diary entry of your day. You could be recording history!
Draw and label a picture that goes with it.
Save your paper. 😉
Draw and label a map of your home. Please include doors, windows, rugs, or furniture.
Compare and contrast any two items or people in your home. Create a Venn Diagram. Label each circle.
